Even less plausible than Geoffrey's tall tales of beating Marko, these modified jokes are, nonetheless, a lot funnier than anything the younger Blackpool could devise. They're piquant nuggets of humor, the cheese balls on the hors d'oeuvres tray of fanfiction. No wonder Geoffrey likes 'em so much.
We also suspect he thinks they're gospel truth.
